Can we just talk?

This project was birthed through a blended love of pixel animation and what was a somewhat new release from Khalid & Disclosure - Talk. I took inspiration from my favourite elements of pop culture (if you can’t tell what they are by now I can’t help you any more), and created this piece over a few weeks.

Funnily enough I was still learning how to use After Effects (which would have made this much easier), so this piece was created in largely in Premiere and Photoshop. Looking back, I could probably create something of similar length in about 1/8th of the time, but I guess that’s one of the benefits of upskilling yourself.
