Marketing Co-ordinator (Content) at UTS Faculty of Health

As Marketing Coordinator at UTS Health, I have been responsible for the maintenance and population of social media channels, on-campus digital advertising signage, enquiry management, monthly analysis and reporting, as well as larger scale content projects including blog design & editing, research content producing and degree-specific video & animated content.

Though I cannot share much of the analytic and reporting work I produced, I have collated some examples of visual works produced throughout this role.

This section is a work-in-progress, and will look much more aesthetic very soon! For now, see a brief catalogue of content created as part of the Faculty of Health at UTS.

G.D. Midwifery Key Dates Video

Due to the move to online events, I was asked to digitise some of our physical flyers. As part of this process, I opted to create this animation providing more detail into the application process for the UTS Graduate Diploma in Midwifery.

Palliative Care Week

Palliative Care Week is an annual celebration of the great work that Palliative Care specialists and researchers do to ensure the comfort of those nearing end-of-life and their loved ones. These videos were created to show the faculty’s support of the day, as well as raise awareness for the IMPACCT team at UTS - our Palliative Care research centre.

I was responsible for all aspects of the creation of these videos, of which there were 4 hosted by different members of the IMPACCT team. They are viewable on the UTS Health Twitter account.

Nursing Student Profiles

When I arrived at the Health Faculty, there was a variety of content pre-recorded that I had to prepare for social media. Rather than posting as they were, I decided to package them nicely with short animations such as this one.

Open Week Content

Due to the pandemic, we were unable to produce student-led content on-campus and had to get creative to engage with our student ambassadors.

I proposed creating FAQ videos for each discipline, using short videos recorded by the students themselves - and livened up through the use of animation. The resulting videos were a great success, and showcased each degree in an exemplary manner.

Unfortunately, the Health Science students were unable to participate in this production series, so it fell to me to produce content on their behalf!

Seasonal Content

Throughout the year, it was also my responsibility to take on Ad Hoc seasonal posts to ensure that current and future students were engaged with our channels. Here is an example of a video created for this purpose (filmed by student, edited by yours truly).

UTS Health Blog Redesign

The original blog design was antiquated when I arrived in the role, so after some polite discussions with the previous content specialists/my current manager, we decided on a design refresh that better fit in line with other UTS blogs.

After a change in wordpress template and around 400+ lines of custom CSS, I produced the current design used on the site, visible right & at utshealth.blog.
